An Introduction to Phenomenology for Gestalt Therapists This is an introduction to basic phenomenology for GTs. This seminar presents relevant phenomenology in a simple and clear manner. Through accessible readings and clear explanations, this seminar will take a look at parallels and differences between phenomenology and gestalt therapy. We will understand how gestalt therapy’s own phenomenological method extends the clinical effectiveness of our theory/practice. The relevance and practical application of phenomenology will be at the heart of this seminar Seminar members become familiar with the basic ideas of such classical philosophers as Husserl, Heidegger, and Merleau-Ponty. This is an 8 week seminar in NYC. Each session is 1.5 hours. Time and dates are to be arranged. The fee is $540. This is also offered as an online webinar.
