She is an international trainer, supervisor, group and retreat leader and ritual consultant.  She is the founder and director of the Clear Stone Center in Stone Ridge, NY, integrating somatic and relational mindfulness of various disciplines of energy and body work, breath and sensory awareness work, movement and ritual.  Gayla is past president of the Association for the Advancement of Gestalt Therapy – An International Community and the NYIGT and on its faculty as well as being faculty of other learning centers.  She is the author of several Gestalt-related articles and chapters.

Gayla is a women’s activist and a lover of nature.  She integrates slowing down, deep receptivity, sensual wisdom, radical collaboration, ritual and awakened mutuality into her practice.  She is committed to and inspired by this simple and profound work that invites us into becoming more vividly present, deeply related and passionately alive.  She is devoted to weaving feminine principles back into all things, living intentionally and cultivating an embodied intimacy with self, other and the world.
