Bio

Jennifer is a gestalt therapist with a private practice in New York City, and is on the associate faculty of Gestalt Associates for Psychotherapy. She specializes in working with adopted adults and young adults and uses somatically-oriented gestalt therapy to help adoptees better understand themselves in the world, working on issues of identity, relationships, and search and reunion.  In her general practice, her areas of interest include trauma, relationships, anxiety and performance anxiety.  Jennifer was a professional musician and opera director before becoming a psychotherapist, and brings a collaborative, creative and somatically-attuned sensibility to her work as therapist and a trainer.  She also has 20 years experience as a mindfulness & meditation practitioner.
