Description:

Join us for an exciting journey back to the roots of Gestalt therapy! Through a wealth of audiovisual material, we will immerse ourselves in the zeitgeist of the early 20th century and follow in the footsteps of Fritz Perls, one of the main founders of Gestalt therapy. We will explore through primary sources the influence that the theater and three important artistic movements – Bauhaus, Expressionism, and Dada – played in the development of Gestalt therapy, and we will reflect on how relevant their ideas are to us today.

While the presentation is theoretical, to make it more stimulating, the participants will have at various points the opportunity – if they wish – to interact with the material and share their experience with the group. Αt the end, there will also be space for questions and answers.
