Member Welcome and Thank You

Dear NYIGT member,

Thank you for renewing your membership in the New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy.

Our members are the breath and life of the institute. It is you who shape who we are and create our future. The NYIGT is more than its monthly presentations. It is a community and a laboratory in which Gestalt therapy continues to grow. We maintain the living traditions of our founding days by folding our present vitality into our felt and sensed history.

You are the institute. We look to our members for guidance and leadership. All meetings and committees are open to everyone, and we welcome your ideas, participation, and initiative.

Your membership gives you access to the password-protected members section of our website, including recordings of our monthly presentations and our developing library of writings and videos. You will receive the password soon. You are also invited to participate in members’ groups and workshops, including our ongoing support group for writers, and to join our private listserv.

This is a particularly meaningful year for us. The NYIGT turns 75. We will mark the occasion with a special anniversary conference, June 4–5 in New York City and online: “Our Past in the Present, Our Future in the Moment.”
