Charles Bowman
Bio

Charlie Bowman is a gestalt therapist, educator and consultant with extensive mental health, substance abuse and human resources experience. He enjoys his gestalt therapy practice in Indianapolis as well as training and consulting in the United States and abroad.
Charlie has made multiple contributions to professional, business, and lay publications on such topics such as psychotherapy history, theory and practice, business consulting and HR management, trauma and addictions counseling. He is President and senior faculty member at the Indianapolis Gestalt Institute and Past-President of the International Association for the Advancement of Gestalt Therapy.
Charlie has a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology and has consistently trained in Gestalt Therapy over the last 40 years. He also completed 11 consecutive years of training in Integrative Psychotherapy, 150 hours of training in Psychodrama and Sociometry, and 200+ training development hours in HR Services and Management Development. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and lives with his wife Ann in a quiet town in mid-America where he enjoys time with his five children, nine grandchildren, Phoebe the dog, three cats and eight chickens.
