Jon Blend

Jon Blend MA Dip Child, CQSW is British, of Austro-Russian heritage. He is a UKCP and ECP registered Gestalt psychotherapist, a child psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, community musician and Playback Theatre performer (www.londonplayback.com). Jon’s career in adult and child mental health began over forty years ago, as a psychiatric social worker/ counsellor in various hospital and community-based settings. Nowadays he maintains a private practice in London, seeing adults and children for psychotherapy and offering clinical supervision.

Jon is a faculty member of the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education and an approved trainer with the Violet Solomon Oaklander Foundation. He is also Director of Gazebo Training School, London. Since 2002 Jon has taught the Oaklander model of projective arts therapy to psychotherapists and other professionals. He has delivered Gestalt training workshops and presentations to various institutes and organizations in Bulgaria, Croatia, England, Georgia, Iran, Northern Ireland, Poland, Romania, USA and Wales.
