Martha Helliesen

Bio

Martha Helliesen, PhD lives in Lisbon (Portugal) where she has a thriving practice as a Gestalt psychotherapist. She trained as a Gestalt therapist in NYC in the 1990s and has been a full member of the NYIGT for over 20 years. She specializes in Sexuality and has developed unique interdisciplinary methods, informed by her background in neuroscience and bodywork, to help clients from all over the world overcome their sexual obstacles. Originally from Norway, Martha spent 30+ years in the US before relocating to the Netherlands in 2021 to reconnect with her European roots.
