Iris Fodor, Ph.D., a Clinical Psychologist, is Professor Emerita in the Department of Applied Psychology at New York University and former director of the Ph.D. and Psy.D. programs in School Psychology. She is a Licensed Psychotherapist in New York City, with a background in Cognitive and Gestalt Therapy. She has received certification in Gestalt Therapy from the Gestalt Therapy Institute of Los Angeles (GTILA).

Iris Fodor is known for teaching, conducting workshops and writings about anxiety management, depression, women’s issues and integrative psychotherapy. She has been an Associate Editor of Gestalt Review. Iris is also a photographer whose work has focused on digital story-telling and narrative process. Recent work focuses on memoir, experiential writing and life story
